![]() ![]() ![]() Then I started to play and i could see that VRR was working as the FPS varied around the 120fps mark with occasional drops. To check everything was working I turned on the FPS counter on the monitor before playing. From here I went back into the XBox settings and turned VRR on. Then I started Cold War, went in to settings and checked under display that 120hz option is enabled and greyed out. Importantly, leave VRR off for the moment. It's the only setting that had any affect on letting me get VRR to work. LEAVE ALLOW 4K ON, many people have said to turn this off but I think for some reason this prevents VRR from being used at the lower resllution. I have turned off all the HDR settings and chosen 8bit colour (you may be able to select a different colour, not really played around with this setting as of yet). On the XBox, resolution is set to 1440p at 120hz. Its outstanding characteristics will allow you to play in exceptional conditions, judge for yourself: 27-inch OLED panel, 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, dazzling response time of 0.03 ms 1 199 95.
